i am the first but not the best to write...I shall try!
it seems to me that we cannot hear any noise here. It looks like the shop we can see everywhere in France too , before the day 's life begins.

MacDougal Street? Where is MacDougal Street?? I am in California and just about anywhere you live, if there is anyone near you at all..there is noise. EXCESSIVE noise. Trains, trucks grinding gears, horns honking, people yelling, neighbors fighting, anyway...it does get to you. Not at all sure what you can do even though there usually are curfews for noise. Our neighbors hire BANDS..and not just now and then..sing in Mexican..so can't even understand the words..at least I would like to know what they are singing so loudly about!!
:) Wish I had a suggestion because I have used up all my idea's.

im suffering too. i lived in the country. now its like mac dougal street but w/the 4 lane highway 3 houses down. & people dont shut up. & yes i also hear mexican bands. this must be an international trend.
